ACHPER is pleased to announce the introduction of a new Journal. The Asia-Pacific Journal of Health, Sport & Physical Education is replacing the Healthy Lifestyles Journal and is now calling for manuscript submissions. Manuscripts should be approximately 6000 words. Guidelines for authors can be found below.

While the particular focus of the Journal is on the Asia-Pacific region manuscripts from beyond this region are welcome, providing they have relevance to the readership. Emphasis will be given to research-based articles that make reference to other critical work in the field and/or discuss particular issues of practice-focused research within the specific professional fields of health, sport and physical education. Editorial will privilege those articles that explore and provide a depth of understanding of the complex inter-relationship between developing/improving practice through the production of knowledge.

As well as our research focus we also invite manuscripts that engage in critical analysis and discussion of current events relevant to the key defining areas of health, sport and physical education or contributions to workplace-based learning across a wide range of specific institutional/ and community contexts.

A review section will be offered and will feature both book reviews and review essays (usually a maximum 1000 words).
