Many thanks to the Australian Catholic University for hosting the 32 International Conference
As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes the educational landscape, it is essential for health and physical education (HPE) researchers, educators, and professionals to critically engage with its impacts, opportunities, and ethical complexities.
Rather than standing in opposition, AI is already transforming movement education practice and research — enhancing teaching and learning, and supporting students and athletes with diverse strengths and needs in dynamic new ways. Yet these advancements continue to bring real dilemmas and tensions that demand thoughtful exploration.
At the 32nd ACHPER International Conference — Move and Thrive in an AI World — researchers, educators, coaches, industry professionals, and thought leaders came together to share, discuss, and explore the challenges, breakthroughs, and possibilities of AI in movement and health education.
More than 200 delegates gathered in vibrant Melbourne, Australia, for three valuable days from 12–14 November 2025. The conference offered rich opportunities to connect, learn, and lead in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.
Together, we examined how AI is reshaping what it means to teach, move, connect, assess, and flourish — and reflected on how we can continue building a future where movement remains essential to life.
