Sam Rossi is a passionate education leader with a strong track record in delivering innovative health and wellbeing programs that empower students to thrive through active, engaging learning experiences.
Sam lives and breathes an active, healthy lifestyle—driven by a daily commitment to movement, whether through running, cycling, or working in the garden. His personal enthusiasm fuels his professional mission: to inspire others to embrace physical activity and wellbeing every day.
Currently General Manager of Education and Programs at AFL Max, Sam leads the strategic design and delivery of innovative school and camp programs that engage, educate, and inspire. He began his career as a middle years Health and PE teacher before progressing into leadership roles, building successful cross-sector partnerships and scaling educational offerings nationally. Sam previously served on the ACHPER SA Board and is now a proud member of the ACHPER Australia National Board, contributing to strategic direction and national advocacy. Known for his energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong relationship-building skills, Sam is driven by a vision to create active, healthy futures through quality education and meaningful experiences.

Adrian is an experienced sport and recreation leader with over 25 years’ experience in community development, facility management, and strategic sector advocacy, driving inclusive, active, and connected communities across Australia.
Kristen is a stakeholder engagement consultant with an extensive background in sales, marketing and relationship building. She has seen business partnerships from all angles, spanning education, corporate, sport and professional associations.
Russell is currently the Vice President of ACHPER Australia. He has been a member of ACHPER since 1975 and was awarded Life Membership in 2006.
He has been a lecturer in Physical Education and Health at Flinders University since 1990.
Associate Professor Sue Whatman is the current President of ACHPER Incorporated. Sue has been a teacher-educator for more than 30 years, currently convening Higher Degree Research (HDR) in education and the HPE Double Major at Griffith University.
